In the lawsuit before the Bonn Regional Court between the plaintiff, Contergan victim Andreas Meyer, and the defendant, Attorney Karl Schucht, the parties have been unable to reach an agreement.
In the court hearing on 15.2.2017, the Bonn Regional Court had proposed that the parties should reach an out-of-court settlement.
It is expected that the court will reach a judgement on 29.5.2017.
